Halloween and more

Hello all!

Jack was such a cute dragon this year for Halloween. Even though we didn't go trick or treating( Jack was kinda under the weather) So we went to the church around the corner from us who was having a Fall Festival with games and neat stuff, and Jack ran around there for a bit.
Then Jack got sick...he had a 103 fever and threw up on me twice! I've never been puked on, so I feel this was a right of passage every mother must take! He is feeling better now, he's eating more and acting more like his silly self. That's the most sick he has ever been, and John and I didn't like it ONE BIT!
Well, thats all here The countdown is on for baby girl to come and her room is almost ready!
Blog you later!

Its been a while since I have updated our blog...life's been a little crazy with the upcoming birth of baby girl! Here are some great pics of Jack and family. There is one with his Grammy Debbie who just came from New York to visit. He had a blast showing off for her!

There' s one at the Bur-Mil Fall Festival where Jack picked out his own pumpkin and attempted to draw on it( it was more mommy drawing on it and Jack drawing on himself and the picnic table!)

There's Jack reading with his Daddy...its such a sweet picture, and the funniest of all is Jack taking a bath in kitchen sink. John and Dan were remodeling our upstairs bathroom so the tub was out of commission for a bit. Jack LOVED splashing in the sink and making a huge mess!
We have a video of him splashing around, but I don't know where it is saved on the computer!

Life in the Schoultz house is good.....I'm getting big and baby girl is moving and shaking! We still have not decided on a name yet! We have some front runners, but nothing definite!
We finally got some rain here in NC, our drought is getting pretty bad...hopefully we'll get more this week!
I will update soon!

Labor Day 2007

Here is a video of Jack walking! And some pictures from our Labor Day get together. One shows the big fat lip he got when his mouth hit the pavement! Thats what happens when you start walking I guess!
The other 2 are of Jack and his friends Silvi and Maggie. Look closely and you can see Jack commanding the other 2 while pointing a harmonica!

It's a Girl!

Yes, John and I both caved in at the ultra-sound and found out that we are having a little girl! Gosh I hope they are right...since we painted the nursery Lilac!

We are excited and I'm sure Jack will LOVE his little sister!

Jack has started walking, he's still rocky but when he wants to, he can stand up and walk across the room with no help. He still prefers to crawl though. He has figured out how to go DOWN the stairs too! He is still talking in his own little language except for he'll throw "No" in there sometimes! He has been sleeping a little better, but last night was not a good night! Must be a full moon.

John has started back teaching today and is finishing up his Master's Degree, so he is quite busy. Uncle Dan has been helping us out a lot...and today is his birthday, so Happy Birthday Dan! My in-laws, Karen and Thom have settled into their new house and its not too far from us, so that's good.

We did find out that Jack's first girlfriend Silvia will be moving...so we are all very sad about that:(They'll just have to have a long distance relationship!

We will try to scan a picture of Baby # 2 and post it, just not the one that shows she is a girl...that's just too embarrassing!

Its so hot here, but summer is winding down, so hopefully some cooler weather will be on its way!

Jack's a Blast!

Jack's personality is really beginning to blossom!

He is sooo good playing by himself, he talks to himself as he plays in his own little language. He does say Jack and Jackadoo alot! He has also started saying "no". I don't think he knows what he is saying but it is funny when you ask him a question and he says "no"!

He's almost to the point where he can walk on his own. He is still a little timid on his own, but he has taken about 4 steps going in between John and I.

He has mastered going up the stairs on his own with no problem! He has really taken a liking to Milo, but Milo wants no part of it!

He has had a blast hanging out with Grandma Karen and Grandpa Thom!
Baby number 2 is about to have his/her picture taken as well. We have our ultrasound in two weeks, so we are looking forward to that. I'm still pretty sick, but life goes on! We are still playing the Name Game, trying to come up with some good choices for a girl and boy. Soon we will start getting the new nursery ready!

Our summer vacation

We just got back from a vacation in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Unfortunately we had some of the worst weather the town has seen in years. We had 5+ days of rain and overcast skies and 1+ day of some sun.

We got to see alot of family and Jack was able to meet some of his extended family for the first time. Jack definetly liked the beach when we were on it!

My first Blog

Here I am blogging for the first time! My friends Dianne and Kelly have blogs so family and friends in other states or countries can keep up with how everyone is doing. So, I thought I'd give it a try!

Jack is getting so big, he will walk while holding your hands, but hasn't gotten the nerve up yet to try on his own. He talks in his own little language all day long! He has begun to sleep better at night...we had some days that he slept all night long!!! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

The sad part is we are about the do it all over again!!!! Thats right....baby number 2 is on his/her way! January 4th is the due date.

John has started summer vacation....he did two summer camps recently and is off this week doing stuff around the house. We are all going for our first family vacation to Old Orchard Beach on July 6th. We can't wait!

Once I learn how to put pictures on here, I will post some of little Jack.
